We offer an at-home teeth whitening approach, using the boutique whitening custom-made trays.

Does teeth whitening hurt or cause sensitivity?

Some people find their teeth are sensitive to cold during or after whitening. Usually for 24-48 hours.

Other after effects can be gum discomfort, white patches on the gum line or a sore throat. These symptoms normally go away within a few days. If you’re prone to sensitivity, don’t worry: we have gentler options and soothing gels to make the process more comfortable.

Who is suitable (or not suitable) for teeth whitening?

Whitening works best on natural teeth, not crowns, veneers, or fillings. It’s not recommended for under-18s, during pregnancy, or if you have untreated dental issues. We’ll check all this during your consultation.

How long will my teeth stay white?

Most patients enjoy their brighter smile for 6 months to 3 years. Lifestyle factors (coffee, tea, red wine, smoking) can shorten this, but top-up kits and regular cleans with your dental hygienist help extend results.

Is teeth whitening safe?
