Toothache is unpleasant but, as a general guideline, only the following problems are considered dental emergencies that need early attention:
If you have toothache or dental pain that reduces or stabilises after taking over-the-counter painkillers (analgesics), such as paracetamol or aspirin, you probably don’t need an emergency appointment.
Enquire NowStella Maris Dental is open Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 5.45pm and Friday, 9.00am to 1.00pm. If you need emergency treatment, please telephone 0121 588 4541. We will make an appointment for you to see a dentist as soon as possible. We have times allocated for emergencies every day.
If you have an emergency when the practice is closed, please call 0121 588 4541 to get recorded information about our out-of-hours service. This message will tell you what to do and give you the telephone numbers of our deputising service. They provide emergency service every day of the year.
Please only use the out-of-hours service for dental emergencies.
Please remember that no one knows your dental history like your dentist. Whenever possible it is better to wait and see your own dentist.
