The duration of a root canal procedure can vary depending on the complexity of the case, however on average it takes between 1 - 2 hours to complete.
There are two different types of gum disease – gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is the early stage and with developing a good oral hygiene routine, can be reversed. However, if it is left untreated, it turns into periodontitis which is a more serious condition. Periodontitis can be managed to stop it from getting worse.
